Terms of Service

Last Updated: 22 Apr 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Ritualy, including our website, authenticated web app, PWA, shared-link pages, checkout flows, and related services.

By using Ritualy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by law where you live, to use Ritualy.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide to us and for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You may not impersonate another person, share access in a misleading or unauthorized way, or use Ritualy for unlawful purposes.
  • If you sign in through a third-party provider such as Google or Microsoft, your use of that provider is also subject to the provider's own terms and policies.

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of the content you submit to Ritualy, including tasks, projects, notes, rituals, check-ins, chat content, and other user-generated content.
  • You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display your content only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve Ritualy and the features you choose to use.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to upload, store, or share any content you put into Ritualy.

Calendar, Sharing, and Third-Party Features

  • If you connect an external calendar, you authorize Ritualy to access and process the calendar data needed for that integration.
  • If you create a shared link, you are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom. Anyone with the link may be able to access the shared content available through it.
  • Some shared links may also allow limited interaction, such as updating checklist or step status through the link.
  • Ritualy depends on third-party services such as authentication, calendar providers, analytics, notifications, payments, and AI providers. Those services may change, fail, or become unavailable from time to time.

Paid Access, Contributions, and Refunds

  • Some parts of Ritualy may require payment. Pricing, plan details, and feature descriptions are presented on our website or at checkout.
  • Paid plan pricing, billing intervals, access terms, renewal terms, and usage token allowances are shown on our pricing or checkout pages.
  • Support or contribution payments are one-time payments to support the project and do not include product access unless we explicitly say so.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe and may be subject to Stripe's terms and policies.
  • Refunds, if offered, are governed by the refund terms shown on our pricing or checkout pages or otherwise communicated by us at the time of purchase.

AI Features

  • Ritualy may offer optional AI-assisted features, including chat, writing support, and content assistance.
  • AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any AI-generated output.
  • AI features are provided for general productivity assistance only and are not legal, financial, medical, mental health, or other professional advice.
  • You should not rely on AI output without your own judgment, verification, and, where appropriate, professional advice.

Acceptable Use

  • You may not use Ritualy to break the law, infringe another person's rights, harass others, distribute malware, interfere with security, or abuse the service.
  • You may not attempt to access data that is not yours, bypass access controls, scrape the service in an abusive way, or use Ritualy to perform unauthorized automated activity.
  • You may not use shared links, invitations, or integrations in a way that is deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized.

Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

  • We may update, improve, suspend, remove, or change features of Ritualy at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the service in a harmful or abusive way.
  • You may stop using Ritualy at any time. Account deletion features or requests are subject to our Privacy Policy and operational or legal retention requirements.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

  • Ritualy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, continued availability of any feature, or that the service will meet every specific need.
  • We do not guarantee that reminders, notifications, integrations, sharing flows, or AI outputs will always be delivered, accurate, or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ritualy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Ritualy will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant paid service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by updating this page, updating the "Last Updated" date, or using another reasonable method. Continuing to use Ritualy after those changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
